Complete Scholarship Guide for Pakistani University Students (2026)
Do not drop out due to financial constraints before exploring these major scholarship pipelines available in Pakistan.
1. Ehsaas / BISP Undergraduate Scholarship
This is the largest government-backed need-based scholarship. If you are enrolled in any HEC-recognized public university and your family income falls below the threshold, this covers 100% of your tuition fees and provides a monthly living stipend. Apply via the HEC portal in your first semester.
2. PEEF (Punjab Educational Endowment Fund)
For Punjab-domiciled students, PEEF offers excellent funding based on FSc merit combined with a low-income bracket. PEEF is highly reliable but requires massive amounts of paperwork regarding your parents' income certificates and utility bills. Start collecting these documents before admission.
3. University-Internal Merit Scholarships
Almost all public and private universities offer internal merit scholarships. Usually, if you secure a 3.5+ or 4.0 SGPA in a semester, the university waives 50% to 100% of your tuition fee for the following semester. This is purely performance-based and resets every 4 months.
