COMSATS offers substantial financial relief, but you must know exactly when and how to apply.
1. Pak-USAID & Ehsaas Need-Based Scholarships
These massive grants cover full tuition and offer a monthly stipend. The critical mistake students make is waiting until week 8 to gather documents. You must apply immediately in your first week. They require authenticated utility bills, parents' income certificates, and rental agreements. Prepare this file before the semester even starts.
2. The Kinship Concession
If your biological brother or sister is actively enrolled in any COMSATS campus, you are legally entitled to the Kinship Fee Concession. This typically reduces your semester tuition fee significantly. You must submit the affidavit proof directly to the fee/registrar office at the start of every semester.
3. Campus-Specific Merit Awards
At the end of each semester, the top 3 (or top 5%) GPA holders in a batch are awarded an internal merit scholarship. This fully or partially waives the immediate next semester’s fee. To secure this, you generally need a minimum 3.5+ SGPA, though realistically in CS batches, it requires closer to a 3.8+ to beat the curve.
