FAST Scholarships & Financial Aid 2026: Funding Your Degree
FAST is an expensive private university, but it acts as a massive socio-economic equalizer through its vast financial aid systems.
1. The OSAF (Old Students Association of FAST) Scholarships
FAST boasts one of the most powerful alumni networks in Pakistan. The alumni fund massive amounts of need-based scholarships via OSAF. If your father's income cannot cover the semester fee, apply for an OSAF loan/grant immediately after admission. They frequently cover 50% to 100% of the tuition.
2. The Study Loan Mechanism
FAST also offers Qarz-e-Hasna (interest-free study loans). The university pays your fee, and you are contractually obligated to pay it back in small installments after you graduate and secure your high-paying software job. This is the safest way to fund your degree if immediate cash is unavailable.
3. Internal Merit Scholarships
The university grants automatic fee waivers purely on merit. If you are among the top 3 position holders in your department's specific batch, your subsequent semester fee is massively reduced. However, fighting for the top 3 spots among FAST's elite student body requires near-robotic dedication.
