1. The HEC and Ehsaas Monopoly
QAU is treated as the prime distribution center for HEC Need-Based Scholarships. Literally hundreds of students per batch receive full tuition coverage and monthly stipends (often 6000 PKR/month). However, the paperwork verification is ruthless. You must secure Domicile certificates, B-forms, and authenticated income certificates by week 2 of your first semester.
2. Bait-ul-Mal and Regional Grants
If you entered on a Balochistan or FATA quota seat, specific regional government ministries offer dedicated monthly stipends and tuition coverage purely for students of that domicile studying at QAU. Always contact the QAU Student Financial Assistance Office regarding your specific province.
3. Departmental Merit Scholarships
The university runs a rolling merit waiver. If you secure the literal Top 1 or Top 2 position in your departmental batch at the end of a semester (usually requiring a near-perfect 3.9+ GPA), the Vice Chancellor's office triggers an automatic fee waiver for your upcoming semester.
