Pakistan University Admissions Timeline 2026: Complete Checklist
Missing an admissions deadline by one day means waiting an entire year. Do not rely entirely on Facebook groups. Follow this macro timeline.
November (Pre-Year) - February: The Testing Phase
- NUST NET Series 1 & 2 happen now. This is your experimental phase.
- FAST and COMSATS start announcing their earliest testing schedules.
- Obtain your Domicile and original B-Form/CNIC from NADRA now. Do not wait for August.
March - May: Board Exam Lockdown
You must completely pause entry-test preparation and focus 100% on securing maximum marks in your FSc Part-2 board exams. Ignore the universities for 8 weeks.
June - July: The Final Testing Gauntlet
- Your board exams end.
- UET ECAT takes place.
- NET Series 4 takes place.
- NTS NAT special tests are rolled out.
- You must submit your physical/online admission forms to your backup universities (like UCP, UMT) as safety options.
August - September: Merit List Bloodbath
Universities start dropping their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd merit lists. If your name appears, you typically have exactly 3 days to physically deposit a ~100k PKR bank challan to secure your seat. Keep liquid cash ready in August.
