How to Calculate SAU Semester GPA & CGPA

The Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) GPA calculator allows you to compute your semester Grade Point Average (GPA) and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) instantly. Calculations are based on the official 4.0 grading system of SAU.

How to use the GPA Calculator:

Add Courses: Input your courses with their respective credit hours (e.g. 3 or 4 credits).
Select Grades: Choose the letter grade (A, B+, C, etc.) or enter the percentage obtained for each course. The calculator will automatically map it to the corresponding grade points.
Previous CGPA (Optional): If you want to compute your cumulative CGPA, switch the calculation type to "Cumulative CGPA", enter your previous semesters' CGPA and total earned credit hours.
Calculate: Click the calculate button to see your GPA/CGPA.

HEC & SAU Grading Standards

SAU follows the official university grading standards with a maximum GPA of 4.0. A course passing grade of D (50%) is required to earn credit hours.

Customize Grading Scale:If your department or campus uses a slightly different scale (e.g., legacy scales or university-specific boundaries), you can use the "Customize Scale" feature to manually adjust the grade points and percentage limits to match your transcript exactly.

Academic Disclaimer

While this calculator uses the verified SAU grading scale (Verified), individual department boards or campuses may use custom criteria. Always check your official Sindh Agriculture University student portal or LMS for the official transcript results.
