The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) merit calculator is designed to help prospective students compute their aggregate score for undergraduate admissions. Admissions at NUST are based on a weighted combination of your past academic scores and entry test performance.

To apply for undergraduate admission at NUST, students must meet the minimum percentage criteria in Intermediate exams (usually 50% to 60% depending on engineering, computer science, or business disciplines). Additionally, passing the required entrance tests (NET-1, NET-2, NET-3) is mandatory.
NUST uses the formula: Aggregate = (Matric % × 0.10) + (HSSC % × 0.15) + (NET Score/200 × 0.75). A minimum of 60% marks in Matric/HSSC is required for eligibility.
NET (NUST Entry Test) is conducted three times a year. It includes MCQs from Math, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Intelligence. Best of three attempts is considered.
The closing merit for Computer Science typically ranges between 85-92% aggregate depending on the campus and year. SEECS Islamabad has the highest cutoff.
