To apply for undergraduate admission at NUMS, students must meet the minimum percentage criteria in Intermediate exams (usually 50% to 60% depending on engineering, computer science, or business disciplines). Additionally, passing the required entrance tests (NUMS MDCAT 2025 — minimum 55% for MBBS; valid MCAT/UCAT route only where officially allowed for foreign seats, NUMS MDCAT 2025 — minimum 50% for BDS; valid MCAT/UCAT route only where officially allowed for foreign seats, Online NUMS Admission Test for UG Programs — Spring 2026, NUMS MDCAT / NTS NAT / HEC USAT) is mandatory.

According to PM&DC regulations, a minimum of 55% marks in MDCAT/NUMS is required for MBBS admissions, and 50% marks for BDS admissions.
