Content Removal & Takedown Policy

CampusAxis ("we", "our", "us") is committed to maintaining a lawful and responsible platform. This Content Removal & Takedown Policy explains how we handle requests for the removal of content from campusaxis.pk (the "Platform").
1. Our Commitment
- We comply with lawful requests for content removal.
- We review complaints within 48 hours.
- We remove unlawful content in good faith.
2. Grounds for Removal
Content may be removed if it:
- Violates the intellectual property rights of any individual or organization.
- Contains defamatory, abusive, harassing, or threatening material.
- Violates the Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, or Acceptable Use Policy.
- Is unlawful under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA), 2016 or other Pakistani law.
- Contains personally identifiable information shared without consent.
- Is reported by a competent authority or court order.
3. How to Submit a Takedown Request
To request the removal of content, please send an email to [email protected] with the following:
- Your full name and contact information.
- A clear description of the content you want removed.
- The URL or location of the content on the Platform.
- The reason for the removal request (e.g., copyright infringement, defamation, privacy violation).
- Any supporting evidence or documentation.
- A statement that the information provided is accurate and you are authorized to make the request.
4. Review Process
- All takedown requests are reviewed within 48 hours of receipt.
- If the request is valid, the content will be removed or restricted promptly.
- If the request requires additional information, we will contact the requester.
- The content creator may be notified and given an opportunity to respond (counter-notice).
5. Counter-Notice
If your content was removed and you believe the removal was in error, you may submit a counter-notice to [email protected] explaining why the content should be restored, along with supporting evidence.
6. Repeat Infringers
Users who repeatedly violate platform policies may have their accounts permanently suspended or terminated.
7. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA), 2016.
