Converting your Cambridge grades into Pakistani marks via the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) is legally required for local university admission.
1. The Conversion Formula
The IBCC formula dictates that an A* equals 90 marks (effectively 90%), an A equals 85 marks, a B equals 75, and a C equals 65. Even if you scored 99% in your actual Cambridge exam, an A* will never yield more than 90% in the Pakistani system.
