How to Prepare for Finals in 7 Days — A Day-by-Day Plan That Actually Works
You wasted the semester. You have 7 days until the final exam. Here is the emergency protocol.
Days 1-2: Information Gathering and Triage
Find the course syllabus and 3 years of past papers. Do not read the textbook! Map out which topics hold 80% of the exam weight (usually the post-midterm stuff). Secure the PowerPoint slides directly from the professor or class representative.
Days 3-5: The Deep Dive on High-Yield Topics
Study only the chapters that heavily repeat in past papers. If Chapter 4 has never appeared in 5 years, skip it entirely. You are no longer studying for an 'A'; you are studying to pass with a 'B+'. Use YouTube (like freeCodeCamp, Organic Chemistry Tutor, or Indian/Pakistani local channels) for 2x speed crash courses.
Days 6-7: Past Paper Execution
Do not read notes anymore. Spend the last two days attempting the past papers on blank sheets of paper. The physical act of writing will expose whether you actually understand the logic or if you have just memorized the slides.
