Freshmen often make the mistake of taking the first semester too lightly, only to realize the math becomes exponentially harder later. Your first semester sets the baseline for your entire degree.
1. Why Semester 1 is Critical
In Semester 1, you take fundamental courses (like Intro to ICT, Calculus, English, and Islamic Studies). These are generally the easiest courses you will face. Scoring a 3.5+ here acts as a "buffer" when core specialized courses drag your grades down in semesters 4, 5, and 6.
